The lodge sources many of its products through the local El Cascajo community and includes in their guest programs activities run by locals. In partnership with Pack for a Purpose, Julio Pueblas Castellano School is a school which serves 25 to 30 children from ages 5 through 12 years old.The tiny school is located in the village of Cascajo in Santa Cruz, Galapagos Islands.
