And Do Good: Stonewall Resort partnered with their local county school district to prepare over 150,000 meals from March to July in 2020 for children while they were out of school due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Stonewall Resort has partnered with their foundation, Stonewall State Park Foundation, to provide weekly meals to employees and their families while they were furloughed. Stonewall Resort will also be providing a turkey at Thanksgiving as well as a Christmas dinner for 4 in December to all employees.
2020 marks the 6th year of Stonewall Resort’s shoe donation program with schools in their area. With this program, they provide every child with a new pair of shoes and socks. This is approximately 200 pair/year.
Each February, a group of Stonewall Resort employees deliver flowers to local nursing homes on Valentine’s Day and visit with residents. Each November, a group of employees visit cemeteries in the area and place American flags on all the veteran’s grave sites. In December, Stonewall Resort partners with a local group to assist in providing over 275 Christmas wishes and meals to families in the area.
