U.S. Dental Cleanings while in Spain: Clinica CLOE

#sponsored; opinions are my own

Can I tell you one of the biggest differences to us while living in Spain: dental cleanings. Honestly, the entire dental care system in Spain is just so different than that of the U.S. Right before we moved from Madrid to Southern Spain, we discovered a *gem* of a dentist, Clinica CLOE. It’s been rare and hard to find in Madrid for us a good dentist and dental care clinic that focuses on prevention, suggesting two dental cleanings per year. Clinica CLOE, with its high-end technology, U.S.-educated staff, English-speaking staff and innovative practices made our American family feel right home at their clinic.

So what is it that makes Clinica CLOE so special? It’s a great choice for kids, orthodontic care and adults. To us, we felt that they were so different compared to other dentists we had experienced in Spain for these reasons:

Reason 1 : They Believe Prevention is Everything!

In the U.S., we don’t wait for pain to visit the dentist. Twice-a-year cleanings (every 6 months) are the gold standard for keeping your smile healthy and avoiding bigger problems down the road!  We are so glad to have found a practice here in Madrid that follows those same rules.

Reason 2: They use Top-notch U.S. materials & Technology

Their clinic uses high-quality materials and advanced dental technology sourced directly from the U.S. which gives us peace of mind while living here.

Reason 3: Their Staff are Trained at the Best U.S. schools

Their dentists have studied at some of the top dental schools and hospitals in the U.S.: New York University College of Dentistry, Boston College, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, NYC. I love how they are bringing American expertise straight to Madrid!

Reason 4: They follow  American Standards for Dentistry
Their care is based on American dental standards, with a focus on prevention and precision. This has been truly so hard to find in Spain.

Reason 5: They are English-speaking dentists

Our entire team speaks fluent English, so patients will always feel comfortable and understood during their visit. This sounds like it would be common, but we have found in Madrid this is actually quite rare.

Reason 6: They accept International Insurance

They work with a variety of international dental insurance plans. So even if you’re only in Madrid for one week or maybe your child is studying abroad in Madrid, they make for a wonderful temporary option, too.

We are so sad to have found Clinica CLOE right as we depart Madrid, so do not miss an opportunity to get an American-style cleaning and consultation right here in Spain.
