We just finished our third food and drink # hosted by Devour Food Tours

in Spain, and every tour ends up being our favorite. Every single experience we had with Devour Food Tours in Madrid was incredible, so it was an easy yes to consider doing a third tour in Sevilla. This past weekend we did the Sevilla Tapas, Taverns and History Tour. Our tour guide Manuel was the most welcome and kind soul: he was referring to each of us as his children and even kept our 13- and 10-year old kids entertained fully!

What we love about Devour Food Tours is the authenticity of the experience: these tours take us behind-the-scenes to holes in the wall restaurants that we had no idea about prior to the experience. All family-owned establishments, it is clear that Devour Food Tours are the true experts in these cities and the connections they have with the restaurant owners are priceless.

You watch strangers become close, sharing an intimate meal over conversation. After this past Sevilla tour, we watched solo travelers who came on their own end the tour by choosing to continue hanging out together after the tour was over. We had four incredible stops on the Sevilla Tapas, Taverns and History tour and ate incredible food, special to the Andalucia region, paired with delicious drink. As a couple who enjoy wine and beer but don’t drink alcohol in large quantities, Devour Food Tours does it just right where drink and food are offered, but you can choose to try and consume what you wish. We always learn something new on these tours, both about the food and the history of the region.
